I have been studying English since I remember myself. I have always shown profound interest in languages and am sure to never give it up. I am mostly thankful to my teachers, Sue and Chris Champions, who have inspired me to develop my strive for English and have been a great help and support on my journey.
When asked to join the English Connection staff, I haven’t thought for a moment. English is our future. The challenge we are frequently facing is the language barrier. To get our voices heard and to help them travel overseas it’s absolutely necessary to acquire an international language. Professional teachers at English Connection will help students get involved in the world of English language.
Today I am a student of MCTTU (Moscow City Teachers training University), the School of Foreign Languages. The major focus of my studies is on translation and interpretation from and to English, German and Russian. My experience and expertise would help me create a safe environment for the students in class and share my knowledge with them.
I am doing my best to develop myself every day. As for now, annually I actively participate in International Students Conferences related to linguistics and translations as well as in a new MCTTU Start-Up Programme (being honored to speak to the mayor of Moscow in the flesh and present him my society-oriented project related to the linguistic side of Moscow). I am an active member of EYP (European Youth Parliament) and am frequently invited to chair sessions in Moscow and abroad. My academic papers related to translations have been published in internationally-acclaimed collections of scientific articles. And there is much more to be done!
